How Do You Pronounce Dalo? Meet One of Cache Valley’s Favorite Charities
If you’ve ever seen Dalo Acres Animal Sanctuary pop up around Cache Valley and found yourself wondering, “How do you say that?” — you’re not alone! Let’s clear it up once and for all: Dalo is pronounced Day-Low — like “Day” followed by “Low.” Simple, memorable, and you won’t forget it once you meet our animals.
🐐 What is Dalo Acres?
Dalo Acres is a Cache Valley charity dedicated to rescuing farm animals and giving them a second chance. We’re more than a sanctuary — we’re a place where animals heal, hope grows, and kids learn compassion, responsibility, and life skills through hands-on experiences.
Our mission is Christ-centered, focused on using the farm and the animals to help children in our community grow, learn, and find purpose.
✅ Why the Name Dalo?
The name Dalo has become synonymous with hope, healing, and community in Cache Valley. We chose it because it’s simple, peaceful, and easy to remember — and now you know, it’s Day-Low.
