Poncho’s Story: From Rescue to Local Legend

Poncho came to Dalo Acres like many of our rescues — unsure, a little scrappy, but full of heart. Over time, he became the face of our sanctuary, charming visitors and reminding us daily why our mission matters.

In the summer of 2025, Poncho passed away — leaving behind a herd, a family, and a community who loved him dearly. His memory lives on as a symbol of resilience, joy, and the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. Poncho embodies everything we stand for as a Cache Valley charity.
