God’s mercy does not run on yesterday’s leftovers. It is new for the day in front of us.

Reflection
Monday can feel like a reckoning. The list starts over. The chores return. The needs do not wait until we feel ready.
But Scripture tells us mercy is new every morning. Not occasional. Not reserved for easy seasons. New.
At the sanctuary, morning mercy often looks practical: feed poured, water refreshed, animals checked, gates opened, and hope practiced again. God meets us in that ordinary beginning.
Prayer
Lord, give me eyes for today’s mercy. Help me stop dragging yesterday’s fear into this morning’s work. Amen.
