Dalo Acres Monday Devotional
Matthew 11:28 Devotional: Rest for the Weary
Jesus does not shame the tired. He invites the weary to come close and find rest in Him.
Scripture
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Reflection
Some weeks begin with more weight than we want to admit. The chores are waiting. The needs are real. The heart is tired before the morning fully opens.
Christ’s invitation is not escape from responsibility. It is rest inside relationship. He calls the burdened heart to come to Him before trying to carry everything alone.
At Dalo Acres, care is steady work. Rest matters because mercy given from an empty soul becomes harder to sustain. The Lord gives rest so love can remain gentle.
Prayer
Lord, meet me in my weariness. Teach me to come to You before I collapse under what I was never meant to carry alone. Amen.
